Contents Page Analysis

I really like the effect of this contents page, I like the use of photographed/scanned objects as it gives the page a textured, unusual effect, and I think it makes it quite a stand out page, rather than just a directory of pages. I think possible that there is too much of a recurring colour which allows the page to look a little bland.

This is a simple but effective contents page, the structure is really good, I like the fact that there is a designated area for the photographs, seperate from the informative text. The only thing I have a problem with is the lack of any exciting features, as nothing seems to pop out from the page. It looks quite faded and dull - but is informative and serves its purpose.

This is probably my favourite contents page of the 3, it is colourful, informative and has plenty of photographs and detail. Again I like the fact that the text and photos are kept seperate, rather than merging them together making it hard to read. There isn't much I would change about this page, as it is it wouldn't really fit my magazines genre, but with added things it definitely could.
